Trilogy Aviation Group operates as a premier private aviation brokerage, providing on-demand charter solutions tailored to the specific needs of high-profile travelers and corporate entities. By leveraging a vast global network of safety-vetted aircraft, Trilogy Aviation Group sources the ideal jet for any trip—ranging from nimble light jets for regional travel to ultra-long-range heavy jets for international transit.

Challenge

Trilogy Aviation Group needed a sophisticated technological solution to overcome two core challenges that were frustrating clients and hindering their ability to scale marketing spend:
  1. Inaccurate Client Quotes (Loose Estimation): The existing website quote system was not connected to live market data. It provided clients with only a loose estimation of hourly rates for different jets, resulting in quotes that were wildly inaccurate. This poor experience consumed valuable staff time correcting expectations and undermined initial client trust.
  2. Unreliable Attribution Data: To provide live quotes, integration with Avinode was essential, but the base Avinode offering did not include the necessary attribution tracking (UTM parameters). This fundamental gap meant Amplus Agency could not confidently link specific ad campaigns (on Google, social media, etc.) to a final booked charter, resulting in unreliable attribution data that prevented strategic budget growth.
Trilogy needed a custom system that could deliver both real-time, accurate pricing and robust, trustworthy attribution to validate their marketing strategy.

Solution

Amplus Agency engineered a high-integrity, data-driven quoting platform by developing a proprietary Avinode app and a custom API connection to link all core systems: Avinode, Salesforce (CRM), and a custom-coded front-end. The solution was built for complete technical control and data reliability:
  1. Custom Avinode App Development: This was the critical first step. Amplus built a custom application layered over the Avinode API because the base offering lacked the required attribution capabilities. This proprietary app handles and passes detailed tracking data to the CRM.
  2. Precision Data Filtering and Pricing: The solution was custom-coded in JavaScript and HTML to manage complex business logic and client expectations:
    • Offer Customization: The system was engineered to filter what offerings were pulled from Avinode, instead of showing everything. This provided Trilogy with control over what planes clients saw, aligning output with Trilogy's specific fleet and business rules.
    • Algorithm Alignment: A custom pricing algorithm was developed to accurately process the live Avinode data and match it precisely with what the client wanted to see for a transparent quote.
  3. Perfected UTM Attribution: The system was engineered to capture and pass clean UTM parameters (campaign, source, medium, etc.) from the user's initial click. This reliable attribution data is instantly mapped and sent directly into Salesforce with every quote request, finally giving the team the clean data needed to make marketing decisions.
  4. Agile and Scalable Platform: The custom front-end allows for agile changes at Trilogy's request and can be easily deployed as an iFrame on various partner websites for expanded reach.

The integrated API system fundamentally transformed Trilogy's operational and strategic capabilities, laying a secure foundation for data-backed growth:
