WLS Pole Report Web Application

WLS Pole Report is a modern platform created to streamline pole inspection workflows for utility companies, engineering teams, and field technicians. The system automatically transforms raw field data into structured, highly visual reports that can be generated in seconds.

By combining automated data processing with interactive charts and geospatial mapping, the platform delivers a fast and intuitive way to evaluate pole conditions and communicate results across teams. Challenge

The core challenge was the fragmented and time-consuming nature of traditional pole inspection reporting. Field teams often relied on spreadsheets, inconsistent templates, and manual calculations, making it difficult to analyze conditions, compare results, or generate standardized documents for clients. The client needed a system that could import raw inspection files, automatically structure and visualize the data, and present clear, consistent reports while remaining easy to use for non-technical staff.

Solution

To solve this, we designed and built a complete web application powered by React, Node.js, and a scalable processing pipeline. The platform includes a clean and intuitive user experience, interactive charts that visualize measurements and risk factors, an interactive map built with Leaflet to display pole locations, and a searchable, filterable, paginated data table for deeper analysis. Automated PDF generation ensures every report follows a polished, professional template. A modern design system with clean typography and a flexible layout ties the entire experience together.

Result

The result is a fast, automated, and visually rich reporting platform that replaces hours of manual formatting with a streamlined process that takes minutes. Clients now receive standardized reports with clear insights, interactive data visualization, and precise geospatial context.
