Project

Healthy Meals Incentives–USDA-Funded National Initiative

Objectives

  • Launch a mobile-responsive microsite capable of expanding over time
  • Create a structured content ecosystem that supports grant activity, recognition, and resource distribution
  • Establish a storytelling framework to highlight national impact and program legitimacy
  • Provide ongoing digital support, technical SEO, and monthly reporting for long-term optimization

Challenge

As part of a USDA-awarded federal contract, this Institute of Higher Education was tasked with supporting a national initiative focused on education, recognition, and grant distribution across school systems. To meet program expectations and scale impact nationwide, the institution needed a digital hub that could clearly communicate the initiative, streamline engagement, and publicly showcase measurable outcomes.

Key challenges included:

  • Building a centralized platform that could support national visibility, multi-region participation, and ongoing program growth
  • Structuring content to serve multiple audiences (district leaders, awardees, partners, stakeholders, and the public)
  • Developing a communications framework that aligned with the credibility and accountability expected in federal initiatives
  • Maintaining continuous content updates, accessibility standards, and reporting required for long-term performance

Solution

Amplus Agency implemented a structured, phased approach, coupled with ongoing monthly management, to ensure the platform could launch quickly, expand strategically, and remain sustainable for a federal-level initiative.

In addition to web development and content rollout, Amplus provided optional nationwide video production and motion graphics support to elevate program storytelling as the awardee's highlights, events, and reporting needs evolved.

Result

Since March 2023, the initiative has delivered measurable national reach and program success:
  • 179,000 website users engaged with the initiative online
  • 981 Recognition Awards issued
  • 264 school districts received grants
